Born in London, Anika has had extensive experience in all aspects of business and personal immigration applications. Graduating in Law in 2008 with an honours degree, she then completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London. Before joining the practice in May 2013, she had previously worked in both the public and private sectors, and it was over this period that she first became determined to specialise in immigration law. Her particular focus is on business and commercial migration, and she advises prospective and current entrepreneurs, licensed and prospective sponsors, and overseas business representatives, on all aspects of the immigration system in the UK. She has also dealt with all tiers under the Points Based System, taking clients through extension applications and indefinite leave to remain. Her practice also encompasses a broader range of immigration matters including family settlement applications, applications made under European law and applications for overseas domestic workers. More than any particular type of application however, it is the personal interactions with clients from which she draws the most pleasure and to which she brings a genuine enthusiasm and sense of personal achievement. Within the practice, she has responsibility for business management, including marketing and quality assurance.
